Slaium
After graduating form the Malaysian Institute of Arts in Graphic Design in 1996, he worked as a computer animation artist. In 2003 he joined Art Square Group as a fulltime comic artist. Regardless of what style he expresses in his work, Slaium has a method of provoking mood and atmosphere. He has released a number of graphic novels such as "Utopia High", "Utopia High - Hunting High & Low", "Lawak Cambest", "Drak" and "Monggo!" Slaium has just released his latest graphic novel "Utopia High - Freak Club", besides working on his own personal project. He has also won MSC Malaysia Digital Comic Design Competition by Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC). Hence, after years of experience, he is currently holding the position as Chief Editor for the comic department.
Achievement:
Won the MSC Malaysia Digital Comic Design Competition by Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) in 2006.
Guest Speaker for Inaugural Asian Comic Art Symposium cum Workshop in September 2004 regarding Malaysia Comic Industry.
